The Morning After
Who knew?
He was intense about his dental prowess.
Armed with floss: he’d jab, stab, rinse,
never swallow.
He fenced between molars and eye-teeth
as if plaque were prey and he was the fearless hunter!
Wouldn’t cease his assault till he could whistle victoriously
through his proud toothpick gapped teeth.

i loved this... so light and enjoyable!!!!!
Am amusing piece of writing, much enjoyed!
This was really good. I got a good laugh from this one too. I love the way you point out his own teeth being bad when he's a dentist taking care of other people's teeth. Great take on the words. Keep up the good work. Have a nice weekend.
A cute and clever post. Guess even the strongest object is subject to death by attack!
A bit obsessive, wasn't he? Fun poem.
Wonderful! You infused some tough words with humor and vivd images.
oh that is so very good...**giggling to myself**..can't imagine having to watch that strange ritual every night....eewwwww
Thanks all. Michelle, I didn't think I implied he was a dentist. I always thought those who flossed had good teeth. lol
