It is impossible for me to say anything profound or eloquent. I know that I have been changed. I am fully committed to moving forward with our new president. This night I accept his call for personal sacrifice, commitment and willingness to remain active in the political process. This is the beginning. We cannot rest on the victory of an election. Now is the time for the unglamorous work. Are you committed to change?
Did you watch the coverage? What were you feeling? How will you remember this moment in history?

A friend has just sent me these few words, and they embody my sentiment of hope. She said, "bravo les américains, il a fallu du temps, mais ils ont compris."
Bravo, Americans, it took time, but they've finally understood.
She's right. Congratulations to you, to Americans in general, and indeed to the world.
Isn't a wonderful day to be an American! I waiting in line for an hour and half yesterday with my 22 year-old son to cast our ballots for Obama in the still red state of Alabama. It was amazing to see the diversity of color, age, and economics all in one line toward one purpose.
here are my thoughts:

I'm going to blog about all these questions tomorrow.
For now, I'll say it was one of the best moments of my life, to hear the words on CNN, to hear Barack's words, to see his beautiful family walk out with him on the stage. And I too will take up his call to serve. Whatever he needs, I'm there. I'm so proud.
I'm raising my arms, crying, laughing, and hugging the world.
I cried with joy and I cried with hope for my son, that he may know a world more compassionate toward all people...
