NaPoWriMo

across my wide screen
fall’s sage and spruce inspire
springtime renewal

This doesn't fit any prompt today. Heard a great interview with Nelson George. I'm writing because. And when I'm inspired, I'll write then, too.

You do have a wide screen, in many ways. Cheers to your writing. I'm trying to catch up on being away for a week.

Nice. Sometimes you just have to go outside the prompt!

You're right - inspiration often doesn't come from the obvious sources. I like the sounds in "fall's sage and spruce" too. It's just fun to say :-)

Was George talking about his new memoir? I need to check it out...saw him and Chris Rock and Sarah Jones on You Tube talking about their latest movie on black women and hair weaves...was NOT impressed with any of their remarks...but love your haiku!

Hi Zetta, yes, he was talking about his memoir. I've heard of him, but I don't know him well. The interview was about the writing life and his drive to be a writer. It was good.
