Hi! I'm new here! I came over from Corner Kick.

So, I liked this post over at Carrie Ryan's (Forest of Hands and Teeth) blog:

I "splashed" you, but you've already been splashed, so just know your blog's at the top of my list each morning...

OT, but hey, you! I don't *think* you Facebook, but I saw a notice from one of the groups I "belong to" and thought of you. Not that you need one more project, but that it could be another way of outreach for the concepts and ideas you already post about.

Here's the post, let me know if you need/want me to give you more info:

Dear Friends and Fellow Poets,

Although we have not met, I write to invite you to participate in the project begun by the River Junction Poets and known as the Birthdays of Poets blog. The blog is intended to encourage readers who have an interest but little formal education in the fine art that poetry is. I expect we can have something extraordinary if we have 100 bloggers contributing a post once monthly. The Blogger software allows up to 100 team members. If you're interested, send your e-mail address. I will use it only to invite you officially from the Blogger software. Then you will have access to the blog and you will be able to post there. If your interest is in promoting your own work, you can use a post to do that once. Then I would expect you to contribute something for readers of poetry who may or may not be interested in writing poetry themselves. Please note the format which includes an appropriate title, an image - where possible - in the upper right and the footer which includes the image of the sign and the RJP Mission Statement. I expect these items in each post. Additions to the sidebar of the blog require my approval. If you have any questions please feel free to ask them. Best wishes for your continued success.

Andrew Christ

Thanks Deb, I'm going to look at link this. I have an account at Facebook, but I have a long list of places I regularly visit that I haven't gotten into it.

Z, yep someone Splashed me and I'm glad it got to you! I'm glad I'm on your list.

Let's show some love. We aren't going to fail to support our fellow bloggers, are we? Tell us who to check out and report back on any of the posts already listed.

Okay, I think I'm just now getting the hang of how this challenge works. I enjoyed reading the recommended posts here and I really like the "Library Loving Challenge" - how creative!

I read an article this past week that really inspired me to be a bit more productive than usual. It's from the blog, ZenHabits, which is one the most massive sites out there, but since I've only got two hours before Monday is over (on the East Coast), I hope someone else finds it helpful:

Thanks Claudia, I'll work or making this challenge clearer and participants can add and find links all week. Monday is the designated day to spend reading and comment but who turns down a little lov'n? Love all week. lol

Okay, so I am leaving a link to an entire blog because it is very special.

Julia Hoban's debut is set to release this week. Lauren of Shooting Stars Mag created a whole blog to celebrate Julia's release. Each day, different bloggers will share their thoughts on Julia and her book Willow.

I thought it was such a sweet gesture of Lauren and so far the site is awesome.

Congratulations Deb and Claudia! You won the drawing for 4/4. Please send me your book choice and snail address.

Took me a while to get back to you. Oops. Sorry. Been NaPoWriMo distracted.

Maybe I'll trade a book with you! The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd is the only one I have already read from your list, and maybe the list has changed already.

So, tell you what. I'll send you that Junot Diaz book. :-)

Email me at deb dot stoneymoss at gmail dot com.

I know I have your email in my flkr account, but I am really disorganized. :-(
