April is National Poetry Month. To celebrate, how about writing a poem a day for the month of April—30 poems in 30 days? Several sites and individual bloggers will be participating in NaPoWriMo, a month long challenge supported by thousands of poets across the worldwide web. Like NaBloPoMo, NaPoWriMo is a growing phenomenon. I’m joining my friends at ReadWritePoem. How about you?

You can do this. I think you take public transportation to or from work, which is the perfect time to jot down a new poem.

I'm on a writing journey now at
my blog Epiphany, however about
20% of the poems are revised older
poems {1 - 4 years old} so for
the month of April I will write
all new poems. Yikes!
Hey, I'm so glad you're doing this. I'll bet you can write a bunch of poems on your bus ride. I'll be checking in on you.
I might be posting some purely mental exercises, not always written from the soul. I tend to be more protective with the ones I spend days on. I'm doing it for the fun of it, blast the ego!

I had no idea that was so. Thanks for the tip.
My last poem took 5 weeks to write and it wasn't that long. I think I will stick to a goal more obtainable.
This is my first year participating and I cannot believe how exciting this is.... especially meeting other poets from around the world.
Hey, thanks for listing us here together. I need to do something like this, to check in on my fellow poets for the month. It's a bit crazy, like a flurry of cherry blossoms in the air.
